Terms & ConditionsTerms & ConditionsBy placing an order with Oakwell Cycles, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions as set out below and are confirming that you are over 18 years of age.
As a UK company we comply with all aspects of UK consumer law and the Distance Selling Regulations. Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Orders:
Oakwell Cycles reserves the right to cancel any order placed on this website without the need to provide prior notice or an explanation, furthermore we are not obliged to supply goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and only then is the contract made. Please note that ownership of the goods is not transferred to you until we receive payment for the goods in full.
Once orders have been accepted and dispatched Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel the order and return the goods to us up to 7 days from receipt. Please see our separate Returns Policy below for information on how to return goods to us if necessary.
Stocks:
All the goods listed on our website are offered "subject to availabilty" and whilst we endeavour to hold stocks where possible we so far do not operate an integrated stock system for the website. We therefore are unable to guarantee that every item you wish to purchase is in stock.
It is however our intention to dispatch all ordered goods within 2-5 working days and this would normally allow us enough time to obtain new inventory of any items not in our stock.
On the rare occassion that we can still not meet our planned dispatch time you will be notified and the goods will be placed on back order and dispatched as soon as they are available or you will be offered a suitable alternative. You will not be charged for extra consignments or deliveries.
Website Accuracy:
Oakwell Cycles reserve the right to make alterations to specifications and prices without prior notification and cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies found on our site.
Whilst we endeavour to keep our images and descriptions as accurate as possible, occassionally mistakes are made and we would appreciate it if you would inform us by email if any inaccuracies are discovered.
Returns Policy:
We are happy to take back unwanted goods within 14 days of the date of purchase, providing that they are returned to us in an unused condition with the original invoice. Return postage must be paid by the customer and there will be a small charge made for postage of replacement goods.
Defective or Faulty goods:
Faulty goods are covered by the standard manufacturers warranty against faulty materials and workmanship only. General wear and tear, incorrect or inappropriate fitting etc. are not covered. Any goods returned as faulty must include proof of purchase. We will endeavour to repair where possible or replace with a like for like product if available, we may offer an alternative product if a direct match is not available
Please ensure that you make us aware of any returns by sending an email to returns quoting your purchase number before returning the goods. Goods returned without notification will not be accepted.
Oakwell Cycles will not accept responsible for any returned goods lost in the post, please therefore use appropriate methods for returning goods.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
